Canadian certifying true copy - help!

Hello, I'm a Canadian citizen who is setting up to apply for spousal sponsorship.

I have my marriage certificate, it's filled and stamped by the ministery of forign affairs as well as the Lebanese government, it is also translated by a certified translator.

My next step is to have it stamped by the canadian embassy as a "certified true copy." Unfortunetly here in Lebanon we must book an appointment for this and the earliest appointment is after I leave the country.

My question is if I can get my marriage certificate stamped in Canada since I'll be submitting the application to missasuaga from within Canada.

It doesn't matter if you have it certified in Lebanon or Canada.

Any notary can do it. Usually if you google notary plus the name of whatever city you’re in, you can find some options
