Hi All, I am working on my application for WP and I will be relocating from US to Canada (Ontario). I will be moving with my spouse and US born kid. My Spouse and I both are non US citizens. While submitting the application I am able to add spouse info but when I add US born kid, 'Come to Canada' tool says your family member do not need a visa. I believe every family member who is travelling together needs to have their names and details added in the same WP application. Please advise if anyone has faced the same issue and how I can have my kid's visa for relocating to Canada.

The come to Canada tool is correct. Your son doesn't need a visa as a US passport holder. He will simply enter Canada on his US passport as a visitor and then you'll apply to extend his status at regular intervals.

If your child is over 5 you should be applying for a study permit for him/her. You should also apply for an SOWP for your spouse.

Hi, thanks for the response. Does that mean we dont even need to get her medical test done? I understand we as parents do need to include medical test results but how would it work for US born child 1 month old?

Thanks for the response. I have just 1 month old, so I wanted to know if child's US passport will be good enough or I need any additional visa request. I will be crossing border by road. I will also be applying SOWP for my spouse.
