Hi,
I have applied for Canada visit visa on 26th June, 2019 from Pakistan. I have visited Dubai for 3 days as my past travel history from March 27- March 31, 2019. The reason for me to visit Canada is that I want to meet my significant other in Canada. I study in an online American University and we became friends there. She is a South Korean national and is residing in Canada on International Experience Canada (IEC) one year work permit. I applied for Canada study visa last year but was refused on the grounds of lack of financial resources. I want to visit Canada for 12-14 days and as I am a student and I am only 20 years old, so my parents will give me 2100 cad grant. Also, my father was an ex airlines employee so I will get a fully funded return ticket to Canada from his ex-employer. I have also provided CIC with the airline's official sponsor letter. Can you please tell me what are my chances and If I have a strong case? It's been 20 days since I applied online at CIC website.
Regards,
Note: The reason for posting in US forum is that the replies are really good and descriptive here. Last year I was accepted by University of Toronto but my study visa was refused. Hence, I don't want to build false hope and be prepared to face the fallout by knowing the certainty.
