Canada visit visa time duration

Hi everyone,

I applied for my Canadian visit visa online on 3rd August midnight. I have to attend a family function on 1st sept 2018 . Is it possible for me to get my visa before August 27th? I’m worried that I won’t get it on time as most of the portals say that min time for the visa to be processed is 2-3 business working weeks or 21 days !!

Has anyone here got their visa in 2 weeks ?

I applied it from Australia . Are you sure it takes close to 2 months ??

Processing times quoted are averages and can be influenced as well by the passport holders country not just from where somebody applies from. Applying August 3 for August 27 the chances are probably slim to get approval no way to predict , cannot comment on the 50 day post as no idea on what basis that comment was made.
