Canada TRV online application process question

Dear All,

My cousin has submitted a TRV application online through CIC website and in the navigation process he has uploaded all the necessary documents, digitally signed, and navigated to Payment Page.

After he have given the Credit card details in the Payment page and clicked on submit, he got the message i.e "This order is now complete. Transaction is approved!", He took a print of the page and clicked on "Return to CIC Online Services". This confirmed that payment is successful, but he didn't see any confirmation that application has been submitted successfully. On CIC account, he gets status under detail tab "Submission Processing", that is application yet not be submitted.

Also now if he login to MyCIC again he doesnt show any thing that his application is submitted. His credit card payment is also charged, but not yet sure if the online application submission is complete.

Please advise.

It is not yet submitted, it is in the process of being submitted.

- My current visa is still valid until Feb 1st but I've recently got my WP extended (until Mar 2016). I might have to travel outside the country in early March and would like to get my Visa stamped now itself.
Question: Can I submit an application for Online TRV with my extended WP though the current Visa is still valid.

You help on this is much appreciated.

When you say "visa" what do you refer to: a TRV or a "visitor status"?

It is not recommended to request a new TRV when you have a valid one. You can certainly try to get a new one as your WP is new and has a new date. Just remember that it might be refused due to the fact that you still have a valid one.

- Current Worker Visa: valid until 6th Feb 2015
- Extended Work Permit (Recently obtained): issued on 10th Dec 2014 and valid until 1st Mar 2016

Is it ok to apply for a TRV with my new extended WP or shall I wait until 6th Feb to apply? The only fear I have in waiting is, if I would get it on time so that I can travel in early March.

I'm not sure I get what you mean by Worker Visa... no such thing as a worker visa... most likely you mean TRV category worker.

Anyway, yeah it is quite an issue and this is why it is not recommended to be travelling abroad when your papers are expiring/starting.

My suggestion would be to apply NOW for a new TRV. In the letter of explanation write that you will be travelling in early March and that you need to have a valid TRV when you come back. Most likely CIC will be understanding of your situation.
