canada student visa general type

my name is sameer sachdeva from india chandigarh

i want to apply for student visa

i have done +2 in commerce and gained 58% in year 2010
i did my graduation in Bachelor of Arts and gained 49.87% in year 2013

i want to study further in canada ..am i eligible to get entry via SPP programme or General category

i have all kinds of suffcient funds .
i even have sponser


kindly please help me as my friends have told me that i scored less marks in graduation and my file would be rejected in embassy

As much as I understand

gained 49.87% in year 2013

is too low to get acceptance and SP.

but its approx 50% and can i apply in general type as i want to do 1 yr course of IBM in ontario
