Need guidance.. I'm 43, have almost 16+ yrs experience; would like to give it a try for Canada PR. Is it still possible? I understand that a lot has changed in last couple of months. Would be great if anyone can provide details to start afresh. Thanks in advance.

I am 43. I have WES approved MSc. degree. Celpip 11, 8, 8, 8. divorced.
You know you need to get min 67 points for initial assesment. I am 65.

But in 50 days with full 1-year canada experience and valid job offer, I pass MEC and I will have 595 CRS score.

So even if you somehow pass MEC with 67 initially, i guess you need a valid job offer to be in the pool.

Good luck

Kindly elaborate

To have a chance of qualifying, you would want to have at least a Master's if not a PhD, you would want to have education and/or work experience in Canada, and you may need a job offer in Canada (which are next to impossible to secure).

Thanks a ton for detailed information.. I've couple of friends in Canada.. Let me see if I can get a job offer, and then I may plan to start.. Thanks again.
