Canada PR - Wanting to work in the US

Hi All,

Wanted to know if anyone is aware that if a Canada PR holder wants to work in the US, what is the kind of US VISA required. Would it be H1B or some other Visa?
Also, if Canada PR holders are given any preference for H1B Visa?

As far as I am aware, you will need to follow exactly the same process as a "foreign national". If you were a Canadian citizen, NAFTA might apply, but you are not.

H1b is required and no preferences.

I recently saw many posts about working remotely for US firm from Canada. I am trying to understand how does that workout. If you happen to come across more information please share.
