Hello, I have a question regarding the US-marriage.
I am a Canadian PR, and I will apply for the Canadian citizenship in 2020.
My fiancé is working in the states with the H1B visa. He is going to submit his US Green Card application this year with EB1.
We have been together for 2 years, and he was working in the US and I was working in Canada. We will continue to be long distance after we get married. My fiancé plan to sponsor my US visa when he gets his green card.
We are thinking about getting a marriage certificate in New York this December, but I have several questions:
1. Will our marriage status affect his green card application and my citizenship application?
2. Am I able to use visitor visa to get married in the states?
3. Will I be restricted to access to US to visit him once we got married (given that I have tendency to stay in US)?
4. What is the best time do you recommend ya to get married?
