Hi

Im applying my wife's PR Card extension now. Because her Canada PR card is going to expire in oct,2016.

Can anyone clarify the below answers please.

1) Do I need to include certified photocopies (OR) normal Xerox copies of all supporting documents(PR card, Transcripts, landing document, educational transcripts). Is it any mandatory any requirements for the supporting documents ?

2) is it any mandatory residence requirement to apply for Canada PR Extension like she has to live in Canada for 3 years out of 5 years for applying the Canada PR Card extension

Thanks a lot

2. Canadian resident for at least 730 days to be eligible for an extension.

1. You can find a list in the application guide here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5445ETOC.asp of all the documents you need to provide.

2. The residency obligation is, if she is a PR for less than 5 years that she already has or is still able to spend 730 days or more in Canada during her first 5 years as a PR or if she is a PR for more than 5 years, that she has spent 730 days or more in Canada in the 5 years prior to her application being received by immigration. Days spent more than 5 years ago expire and do not count any more.
