Hello everyone:

My wife and I sent our application via Canada Post Priority on Friday of last week. We had initially wanted to send it via DHL or FedEx, but all the locations were closed when we got off work on Friday.

Canada Post had guaranteed that the parcel would be there Tuesday morning. We just checked the tracking number and the following information was displayed:

2014/02/11 - 15:24 - MISSISSAUGA Business closed for the day. Item on hold for second delivery attempt.
2014/02/11 - 09:33 - MISSISSAUGA Out for delivery

We addressed our application package to:

2 Robert Speck Parkway,
Suite 1200
Mississauga, ON
L4Z 1H8

Has anyone encountered this before? Initially we were unsure of what address to use, but the Canada Post employee stated that because we were using Priority service we should mark mail our application to the Courier address.
 
Canada Post has been known to deliver a parcel or letter without updating their tracking information...for days!!

If your item was out for delivery yesterday, it's likely that it was in fact delivered. :)

Doesn't look like anything is particularly odd or anything..

I think you are right. Initially I thought the first delivery attempt was around 3 PM and Canada Post was reporting that the business closed early; however, it appears the CPC-Mississauga was closed entirely on Tuesday, making delivery impossible.

So now the real question is: why is the CPC-Mississauga closed on a Tuesday?

It apears you have a wrong suite #, check the following link:

I checked the form, it appears I did write down suite 300. I'm not sure why I wrote down suite 1200 on the forum...but in any case, they updated the tracking information to delivered. Now the wait begins. Thanks everyone!

HA HA HA Ponga ...same situation here ...Even i already got my registered letter yesterday but Canada post tracking system still showing my registered letter with Vancouver Customs :o :o :o :o :o :D :D :D

Please call 18002671177......u can speak with them and they can track ur package location ... good luck and god bless all of us

I think they should, given that I addressed it to the correct suite location on the package and made a typo regarding the suite information on a web forum. Thanks for the afternoon snark though.
 
Even though I'm in Québec, I chose to use Fedex :)
Don't trust much their service.
