Last year my application for Express Entry has been approved and I became Permanent resident of Canada. I've a situation now where I need to stay away from Canada which is more than 3 years . I dont know how can I be eligible to apply for PR extension .

Do I need to give up Canada PR..?

1. If you depart Canada for 3 years or more, there is a very good chance when you try to return, you will be reported and with any Humanitarian or Compassionate reasons, will lose your PR status.
