Canada economic Immigrants demand is higher or lower?

I am reading very differing viewpoint at multiple places, such as this forum and on the web.

At quite a few places, it was mentioned that that economic immigrant demand has decreased as compared to 2015 and at a few places it is mentioned that it has increased as compared to last year.

So, does anyone have any clear information whether economic immigrant demand is on a rise or a fall?

The demand is high. However, seems like governament does not worry about needs of economy and demographcic needs ...
