Canada closed work permit

Hi,

i'm on Canada closed work permit (valid until Dec 2021). I have come to India on May 1st 2021 while i'm continuing working here till date.

1. Can I stay in India for more than 182 days (post October) while continuing working on my Canada job ?
2. Will I face any legal issues from India, for being NRI and staying in India for more than 181 days ? (from taxation perspective)
3. Or If I plan to go back to Canada tomorrow, will I face any problem at the port of entry as my Visa is valid for only another two more months ?

This creates issues about tax residency. You will need to contact CRA to determine your tax residency status. Do you have a home in Canada? Is your employer aware that you are going to be abroad for this long? This also can impact how they pay you. You will likely lose your healthcare coverage and need to reapply if/when you return to Canada.
