My school's coop is 12-16 months. I already applied for the coop work permit, but I have an interview on a job that starts at May. According to the coop work permit time estimation on ircc, I wont be able to get the work permit until late August.

So I am wondering am I allowed to work full-time while enrolled in a coop program and waiting for my coop work permit?

I have study permit which allows me to work unlimited hours during the summer break, but is it allowed to switch from one status to another status while you are in the coop program and on the job?

You can work up to 24 hours per week off campus if your study permit allows it. You cannot work full time without an approved co-op work permit.

I believe study permits allows you to work full time if its during scheduled breaks.
But co-op isn't a scheduled break if part of your program. Ok so if it is not part of your scheduled break and not co-op or part of your studies then no issue. Talk to the school's international student advisor

At my uni, coop is 12-16 month long and you can start it any time of the year. And summer is our scheduled break every year.
