Can you still apply under the old application package?

Hi All,

We were just sitting down to do a final check through of our application using the old package, but it seems like all references to the old package are now deleted. It simply states that you fill our your application via the new process. I had a link to the old application package saved <http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/3900ETOC.asp>, but now when I go to that link, I am redirected to the table of contents for the new application package?

On the page listing information about the new application package, it does say;
"If you’ve already started filling out an application using the old application package, you can still use it. We will continue to accept new applications using the old package if we receive them on or before January 31, 2017. After this date, we will accept only applications using the new package.", but with all links to that package seemingly dead or missing now, I'm hesitant to attempt that in case one of the require forms or something is missing.

Is it better to simply use the new forms? We've already completed our up-front medicals, and have all police clearances and things we need, so I was just hoping to submit it all and wait.

I'm in the same situation here. The new forms are designed for inlands though. let me know if you find anything! i should have downloaded everythingggg

Which form do you need? It appears that the old forms are still available, and even if they are not, use Way Back Machine (Google caches copies of web resources -- including previous versions of PDF's).

That said, if it's more than one form, it may be better to use the new package. They do change the forms and validation rules from time to time. So the risk of using a form that they won't accept incrases the more forms you use this way.

I do have copies of all of the PDF's I needed and am able to download them again as it seems the forms are all the same. I just didn't think to check the wayback cache, but it does seem like everything I need is there;
http://wayback.archive.org/web/20161207191042/http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/3900ETOC.asp is the URL for the 7th Dec 2016. That should be everything I need I think.
