Hi everyone,

I made a mistake while submitting my OINP application. I am within the 45 days deadline and my application is still in "submitted" stage.

Am I able to withdraw it and create a new application on the portal?

Will I be refunded?

If your application is still in the submitted stage and you withdraw, OINP will refund your application fee of $1,500.

But once it goes to assessment stage/decision in progress stage and you withdraw your application, OINP will not refund your fee.

If you withdraw, you will need to create again a new application and wait for the next draw and received an ITA to apply.

What do you mean by withdraw and creat a new application for the next draw?

Basically my question is: I submitted my OINP application and paid the fees. I withdrew it the next day (status still "submitted"). I want to resubmit my application now. can i do that? I am under the 45 day deadline.

Once you withdraw your application you are GIVING UP the draw that you were selected and 45 days is only for fees refund purposes. You will have to create a NEW profile and wait to be selected again. In short, if you withdraw you have to reapply from scratch.

I called OINP and was told that within 45 days I can resubmit if I made any errors on my original submission. Using the same NOI.

If Ontario Immigration already told you you can resubmit, what else are you looking for? Surely you don’t expect a volunteer forum to give you more authoritative answer than the provincial government source itself?

You can resubmit if you have not exceeded the deadline from what I have seen online, but what mistake did you make that could not be redeemed by a web form?
Hi ,

Can you please share some links where you see that info(we can resubmit with in deadline of 45 days) in online?
