Can you change a job if you are in a closed work permit ?

I have recently moved to Canada on closed work permit and currently working. Due to certain unforeseen situation I need to change my job. I wanted to know the following:
1. Is it possible to change jobs when you are working in a closed work permit ?
2. What is the process to be followed with IRCC ?

1. No. You can’t change jobs. You need a new job offer with LMIA and then apply for closed work permit.
2. What do you mean? You can stay in Canada while your closed work permit is valid, but can’t work.
