As per new rules, one can apply for PGWP within 180 days of expiration of study permit.
My employer is ready to sponsor me LMIA thus I can get closed workpermit just after expiration of my study permit.
so within this gap of 180 days, can I work for my employer on closed workpermit and then after 150 days, can I apply for PGWP?

all this is because I have done only 3 semesters course and one among those 3 is a COOP semester (will receive 1 year certification). The general update is I receive only 1 year PGWP because my course completion certificate states that it is 1 year course.
As I need work experience for 1 year to be on safe side for PR am afraid I might have 2-3 weeks without working if I had to change jobs in whose case I will be doomed and all my dreams will be shattered.
