Can we work 24 hour instead of 20 hour / week

Hi friends,

As I am an international student and supposed to work 20/week during academics

But I work in security that has 12 hour shift and I work 2 shifts per week.

So it a problem in immigration ? Please suggest your adivce on this. Thanks

No it has to be exactly 20 hours per week. The extra 4 hours are illegal working.

Agree with the above. Anything above 20 hours per week is illegal work and can potentially create issues for your future in Canada.

No. Working more than 20 hours/week is illegal regardless.
