Dear All,

I am living in Toronto as a Protected person since September 2013. My PR is under process but I have my Canadian Refugee Travel Document (issued by Canada passport) and the letter of decision which proofs that the government of Canada has given me protection in Canada and lets me stay here. I applied for my PR in January 2014 but still there is no news. I do not know when I will have my PR .

My wife has a PR card and has her Canadian Refugee Travel Document as well, and my son has a Canadian passport.

I booked a package for a week vacation holiday to Cuba and I paid $ 2,100.00 CA but now my friends are telling me that there will a problem for me to go with Canadian Travel Document because they won't let me onboard the plane.

please let me know if any of you have any information about this.

Thanks,

Jahed

A refugee travel document is recognized by all countries as a valid travel document. You can use it to travel to any country - with the exception of traveling to the country where you are from or where you claimed you were being persecuted.

The OP should note that most countries require a visitor visa to enter their country with a travel document.
