Hi All,

I have a small query regarding payment of PR Application Fees and RPRF:

1- Can wei pay these fees through my brother's Credit Card ?

2- Will there be any issue in future if i pay through my brother's credit card since i don't have credit card and i have VISA Debit Card only.

3- Has anyone paid these Fees through VISA Debit Card?

Please share personal experience or near dear ones experience who have done like this...

Thank you.

Yes you can. I also did the same to avoid the related international transaction fees.

When you use the online payment website, it actually tells you that the name on the credit card does not need to be the same as the applicant's name.

1- Can we i pay these fees through my brother's Credit Card?
Ans- Yes you can pay , it doesn’t matter whether it is your friends or relatives credit card
2- Will there be any issue in future if i pay through my brother's credit card since i don't have credit card and i have VISA Debit Card only.
Ans- There won’t be any issue. For Canada PR all the payments ( ECA, Visa fees and RPRF) only credit card is acceptable

How to pay your fees
Pay online
The Right of Permanent Residence Fee is $490 per person. There is no fee for dependent children.
Important: Processing fees for programs under Express Entry must be paid through your MyCIC Account.
You will need to pay this fee if we approve your application.
Note: Paying this fee at the time of submission can help speed up the processing of your application, so it’s a good idea to submit it when you apply.
If you don’t pay it up front, you must pay this fee before we issue any permanent resident documents to you.
To pay your fees you will need:
• a Visa®, MasterCard® or American Express® credit card
• a valid email address.
Once you have paid your fee, you will see a payment confirmation page with your confirmation number and a link to your payment receipt.

Hope this information is useful.

You can definitely use your brothers card. We used a company credit card from my husbands HR dept and it was accepted no problem.
