Hello all! Thank you for your input in advance. I’m a Canadian/Australian dual citizen living in Australia who started my family class sponsorship before Covid. My children have their Canadian passports and my husband just got his COPR about a month ago. We were making plans to arrive in Canada in January 2021 and I’ve now realised Australia isn’t even letting Australians leave. My husband’s medical expires in February. Citizens immigrating to a new country aren’t listed on the exemptions and typical government, no where to ask the question. Has anyone been in this situation within Australia and know if we can leave? Also any luck getting flights? I’m assuming we might not even be able to get a flight. I’m so anxious and depressed. We’ve been planning this for years.

This forum is about Canadian immigration so any exit issues with Australia you need to take up on that end.
Sorry I thought maybe someone else who is immigrated from Australia to Canada might have some insight.
