Hi Fellows,

I've recently received a permanent job offer under LMIA with 3-month probation. I'll start this job from next January. Until that January, I already stayed in Canada for one year, and I'd like to apply PR through Express Entry - Canadian Experience program. I therefore have two questions:
1) Do I need to wait until my probation finishes (after March), or can I apply immediately in January?
2) Do I need a recommendation letter (e.g., a commitment to hire me at least for one year after I get PR), in addition to job offer, from the company for the application?

Thank you very much,

Better to discuss the same with a consultant, he can guide you on the best way ahead. Do not take any packages from them, tell them you're filing the PR App on your own, only request advice from them about eligibility, that's it. Good luck.

If you are named on the LMIA and the written job offer that you have already received is for at least one year, you can use that job offer as "arranged employment" (or a "valid job offer").

If you already qualify with a full year of employment, you can apply in January. No, you do not need to wait until you complete the probation period.
