I know people are saying US citizens can "return" to US from other countries, with proof of double vax & recent negative test, but I'm not sure if that's just for US citizens who have a residence in the US? Just unsure if being a Canadian permanent resident with no residence in the USA would thwart anything and put us in the same spot as regular Canadian citizens. Also I don't know if a US citizen returning to US just to visit counts as "essential travel" like CBP says (Also sorry if this is a dumb question or not the right place to ask... just not sure where else to ask this!
