Hi All,

I have received my first bill and need some help. I have been told that the bill will be sent every two months. I have rented the apartment on July 1st and received the bill on August 2nd.

The deposit is 130. Is this refundable?

the "Your total electricity usage" table says: Meter reading period : Jun 30 2012 to Jul 23 2013. Number of days 22.

Why did they sent me a bill for 22 days? and the due date for payment is August 17.

I tried calling them but the offices were closed, will call them tomorrow.

seems to me it is pro-rated... you signed up in the middle of their billing period... so you pay that bill and the next one you get will be for the 58 to 62 day period... and yes the deposit is refundable after 1 year of payments and without being late in that year.

You can ask for the deposit back after 6 months having shown that you always pay your bills on time.

wow thats great! thought it would be with them as long as I'm using their service.

I just saw the "debt retirement charge" and looked it up on the net. Very interesting and made me laugh. although the amount is insignificant, the reason we r paying for the old debt is FUNNY!

Thanks for the info Leon.
