hello every body
i applied for the study visa to canada but i got rejection
and because i live in algeria so i have to contact the canadian embassy in france paris in case of i want to get more information about why they gave me rejection
i contact them but the asked me to provide them with :
Family name as indicated in your passport
Given name(s) as indicated in your passport
Date of birth
Country of birth
The date and address where the application was sent
Your file number

my problem is : my file number ?
can someone tell me where i can find my file number please ???

Did you get any receipt when you submitted the documents? Or did you send it via courier?

yes i got a receipt when a submitted the documents

when you got the passport bact you must have received the rejection letter. the file number would be on it.

ok did you email them anytime during the visa process if yes go search your inbox and you will find the number.. if that also does not apply to you then the last option is to give, the Canadian High Commission in your COUNTRY, your full name d.o.b and ask them what your file number was.
