Manually it appears that my score is coming in less, however, I was able to get eligibility on the 'welcome to Canada page', and got a reference to continue filling in the express entry profile...

I spoke to a consultant, he suggested that I will not be able to submit the current profile? is it true?

MY score in ielts is Reading: 6, writing;7, listening 7.5, speaking 8, getting clb 7

If you get a minimum of 67 points in that grid, then you are only eligible to apply under FSW program. It does not mean that you will get ITA or so.

Next, once you create an EE profile, they will give you your total CRS in your account. It means that you have entered the pool. Now, at this stage, you are only eligible to remain in the pool. If your crs is higher than the cut-off in the draw, you will get your ITA.

One more thing, improve your ielts score, i.e. LRWS 8777. It will boost your crs very high.

Hope it helps.

What is your CRS and fsw points?

Al right thanks.

Tell me one more thing, based on the IELTS results L7.5, W7, S8, and R6; how much do I score under the FSWP calculator.

Will it be 16? Or, will the calculation be done as ;
Will the score be counted separately for each section. e.g. L7.5 relates to CLB 8 gives me 5 points, W7 related to clb 9 which gives me 6 and so on. I have done the calculation below: 5(W)+5(L)+6(s)+4(R)..... = 20. I am a bit surprised if this is the case, since a consultant just told me that we can calculate the score like this as well..

Can someone please guide??

Below is the table used in the cic website:
Points
Speaking Listening Reading Writing
CLB level 9 or higher 6 6 6 6
CLB level 8 5 5 5 5
CLB level 7 4 4 4 4

Crs score is calculated SEPARATELY for each of the ielts module.

For example, L 8 means clb 9 and so on.

That's why I told you to get LRWS 8777

Use this link to calculate your crs

Give me +1 if it helped

thanks....if 20 is the case, then I get a score of 69 just above the baseline to apply.

- Do you know how frequent to check the provincial nominations for Saskathewan? They are currently closed, but not sure what time to check in order to know the updates.

You have to check their news update website frequently, since there are no any exact time frames to make draws.

Hi...another query, please excuse my ignorance.

Will the same rule apply when one is doing an initial assessment for other provinces? I mean, given the itels score, I will score 20 in language section on other provincial nominations?

Crs remains same for ielts in every program you apply for. Be it fsw pnp or others
