Can someone answer my Canadian Visa question?

Hello,
I am currently working in Canada where my employer did my LMO. I can only work for my current employer till Dec 2013. I also recently received a Canadian Visa valid till Dec 2013.

If I get laid off in a few months, can I go to my home country and come back to Canada using the Visa that is valid till Dec 2013 and look for new jobs while staying in Canada.

It will be a big help if anyone would be able to answer my question.

1. If you need a re-entry visa, then it must be multiple-entry (M) to re-enter.
2. If you get laid off, the LMO stipulates that your work permit is suspended, to my knowledge. Thus, you'll face the music during pre-boarding and maybe at the border agents in the point of entry.
3. Look for a new employer and forget about home if you want to stay and work.
