Can some one give opinion on best place to immigrate

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to look for more information/advise on best places to settle. I am looking at the following options
Alberta - Calgary, Edmonton
Manitoba - Winnipeg
Saskatchewan - Regina, Saskatoon
Ontario - Toronto, Ottawa
Can anyone give feedback on prospects of immigrants with respect to housing,cost of living and jobs in the above locations?
I have general information on these locations. But would like to know first hand from immigrants already in these places
Any additional information/Advise is highly appreciated.

I can only tell you a bit about Toronto since I lived there briefly and Edmonton where I live now. Toronto is a big city, it is extremely diverse. Edmonton is smaller and much less diverse but I have found the people to be friendly. Housing in Toronto is more expensive and unemployment is higher. In Edmonton, housing has gone up since I moved here but jobs are plentiful, you would have a hard time to not find a job here. Of course it always depends on what you do or what you want to be doing.

Canada is a huge country with lots of resourses and wealth. There are big cities with poulation in millions. You will find many cities with poulation of 2000 to 10000. It all depends upon your choice,If you like rushy,fast and bussy life you may choose big cities like Toronto.Montreal,Vancover etc.
