hmmm are u a teaching assistant? T4A is usually used for self-employed and as you know self-employed is not eligible for CEC... you'd better confirm T4A is used for what kind of worker/employee.... ;D

Thats What I asked CIC representatives and they said yes as long as
you have a contract and a reference letter that sais your duties hours/week and income.
you need to accumulate equivalent of (one year full-time of work experience i.e. 1950 hrs + a Canadian degree, or equivalent of 2 years full time work experience)
