Can OINP transfer my nomination after accepting ITA?

Hi,

I will have to inform OINP that my IELTS result is expiring on the 10th of January. I currently got nominated and also accepted ITA(22nd December). I am doing my best to submit my documents for ITA before 10th of January cause my new IELTS is worst than the one I had and my score will drop below 400 anyway.

I am aware that OINP will remove my nomination and as such my EE profile will be ineligible and expiring in January as well. If I do get a better IELTS result, do I need to reapply for OINP, or can they transfer my previous nomination to the new EE profile?

Easier would be if you can submit your e-APR and get an AOR before 10th of Jan'17, you'll be saved of all the hassles.

That's what I thought too, there are just 3 important documents that I need. 2 PCCs that I already applied and waiting to get delivered (1 overseas + 1 local) and my medical test. I think medical test should be fairly fast to at least get the medical paper with barcode. However I am not sure if my PCC will arrive before 10th of January...

What I am planning to do is to send the receipt of the PCCs along with all the other required documents before 10th of January. I'm just trying to get some advice if that would be the best course to action given my situation.

I personally think you should follow this plan, go on as if you're submitting you r application before the 10th of January no matter what. Have EVERYTHING ready and scanned to be submitted in time.

This is a quote from CIC about police certificate receipts, have a read:

In exceptional circumstances, some applicants may experience delays in obtaining police certificates within the 60-calendar-day timeframe allocated to submit a complete e-APR. In such situations, applicants should submit a letter of explanation as part of their application and include proof of having requested a police certificate (e.g., a copy of the receipt obtained when they requested the police certificate from the prescribed authority). The officer’s discretion may be required in assessing whether police certificates that do not fall within these time limits are valid and reliable for the purpose of evaluating admissibility.

I doubt whether they would accept PPC receipts in lieu of the actual PCCs, but that my opinion (hope i am wrong), let other experts suggest based on their personal experiences (if any).

The quote form IRCC website is fine but there are two points to be noted here.

1. The 60 days has changed to 90 days now, so we don't know if this clause is valid anymore after the extension of 30 day but more importantly,
2. Even if we assume it's valid as a benefit of doubt, then ideally you should wait for your PCC almost till the fag of your last day of application, which is 90 days (earlier it was 60) from ITA date, that you surely are not, since you'll be seen applying on (or before) 10th of Jan'17.

So CIC will question "Why didn't you wait more (as you had 90 days) for the PCC to be issued before applying for e-APR, may be you would have received your PCC by then."

I am afraid you won't have a convincing answer for this.
