Dear All,
I am currently about to start a study in canada for 2 years. my wife is coming with me and my children too.
Now after my studies i want my wife to enter into the nursing college hopefully by the time we both complete our studies we could qualify for permanent residence.
questions 1. is it possible for my wife to switch onto a studies visa whiles im her dependant after my studies is completed?
question 2. is study permit different from PR, I was thinking of if i stay in Canada for 5 yrs continuously i could qualify for the 530 out of 5 yrs

Thank you

Do not understand what you mean here? SP is permission to stay temp in Canada while you study (and the period of the PGWP) and PR is permission to stay perm. You cannot just get PR by spending X number of days in Canada---you have to qualify, apply and be accepted under some programme for PR
