Hi Guys!
I've been reading a lot about Family Sponsorship, but it's a lot of information and I got confused.
Can my unckle sponsore me to Canada, if I'm not an orphan and he has a wife? (I'm 18).
His wife is only relative he has in Canada and he is Canadian citizen.
I would realy appreciate if you could answer me.
Thanks.

No, he can't. The only way he could would be if he had no family in Canada and I believe you would also have to be an orphan.

Agreed the answer is no. It has nothing to do with being an orphan or not. The fact the uncle has a wife disqualifies him as a sponsor.

Are his parents still alive? If yes, then no he still can not sponsor you.

She doesn't have to live in Canada. If he has parents alive, then he would not be able to sponsor any other family member either.

You will either have to qualify on your own merits to immigrate to Canada, or if he lives in a province that allows him to sponsor via a PNP he might be able to help you.

He can not sponsor you via any kind of family class sponsorship, which is what this particular section of the forum is for.
