I am a little confused if my parents should come to Canada with the purpose of tourism or meeting their children. Of course both is in the agenda when they come here, but is it required for me to send them a letter of invitation? My parents can take care of their visit monetarily by themselves and my father also still runs a business in India. So do they still need our letter of invitation? FYI- My husband and I are PR of Canada.
Please help me clear my doubts.
  2. It would seem rather unusual if your parents mention a visit for tourism + no invitation letter from you as their Canadian host
  3. Oh okay. Which means this is standard procedure that when parents of Canadian PR holders come to Canada they need a letter fo invitation from their children. Right?
  4. Yes. In fact, the invitation letter + your documents would help them to get TRVs of longer validity (Read: As parents of a PR child)
  5. Thank you @Bryanna Appreciate your help
  6. yes, the invitation letter is part of the requirements. Note that there is a visitor visa and also supervisa. You can check the website so you can decide which is better for your needs.
