Can my kid study in local school?

I'm PR and living together with my husband and kids in Canada (they are now holding vistor visa). So that I will apply family sponsorship for spouse and dependent children within Canada. During the application process, I will apply "open work permit" for my husband to find job at the same time. Do you know what else I need to do for my kids so that they can study in here now?

One of friend is on a work permit (his wife and son are on visitor visa). His son started in a pre-school here recently. So I am assuming in your case it is no different. Your kids can go to school as long as they are on a valid visa.

You can check with the school directly. They make sure that all the documents (like visa and residence) are in order before admitting.
