I was in Canada on a Student Visa for a year following which I also applied for an open work permit and served a company there for 8 months. Now I am back in India and my work permit has expired, I now want to apply for PR. However, I don't have enough points to meet the current CRS score and getting a high score in IELTS is my only way out but in spite of writing IELTS thrice I keep stumbling on one of the four categories (Reading, writing, listening, speaking).
Another option that I have is to have my husband apply for a Student visa and I can accompany him on an open work permit or spouse visa but I am being told that since I have already been to Canada and studied there either me or my husband will be denied Visa which I don't to what extent is it true.
