Hello forumites!

I am about sending my PNP PR application to CIO Sydney in Nova Scotia but I am worried that one of dependents that have been approved is currently studying in my home country while I am right here in Australia where I have been legally admitted for more than a year. I am planning to choose CIC office in Sydney Australia as the Immigration Office requested for the processing of my application.

I just want to know if my dependent will be able to have his medical examination back in my home country as well as have visa stamped on his passport here in Australia CIC office? I am just a little confused about as chances are high that I may not be to travel to my country to bring him here.

Your advice will be highly appreciated.

Jid.

Your dependent can do the medical at his/her country of residence. But be careful that the medical report should be submitted to the visa office in Australia where the application is in process, and not to the Canadian Embassy/Consulate of that country where the medical is done..

The visa will be stamped only at the visa office from where the passport request will be received.
