Can my common-law partner sponsor me and submit app while i am on implied status from my Study permit. Help needed!!

Good day great house, please i need help in some questions that i have.

I am an international student in Manitoba, i will be graduating in winter 2022 but my study permit will expire in the first week of May 2021. i plan to extend my study permit by April, which is a month before my study permit will expire, and thats the only time i can do it because my university would not open their portal for course registration until 1st of April

i am currently living with my girlfriend and by April next year it will complete one year we have been living together and that will qualify us as common law. she is pregnant for my baby and the baby is due in October this year. we are planning on submitting our app for inland spousal sponsorship by April next year once we qualify as common law.

i want to know if i can still submit my common law app if am on implied status, because i will be on implied status once i submit my application to extend my study permit. or can i submit the app few days before my study permit expire

i also don't want to apply for OWP as i am still a student, and even in the worse case scenario i will still qualify for PGWP after my graduation.

Yes- the application can be submitted while you have implied status. It's even possible to submit the application if someone is out of status.
