CAN MY BOYFRIEND SPONSOR ME IF HE'S IN CANADA ALREADY?

So my boyfriend got a temporary work permit last year and he moved to Canada in November 2012. I tried applying for a work permit myself under the live-in caregiver program a few months after he left but i was rejected twice because of lack of experience. Is there any way he could sponsor me so i could move with him? What would my options be? Let say, we could get married as soon as I get to Canada.. or something similar.. can this be done if he's already there?? I dont want to apply for Permanent Residence.. just an open work permit for the same time he will be there...
