As stated above, my aunt is a Vietnamese Canadian Ciziten who fled the Vietnam war 45 years ago and she’s single, no kids or anything, she has been working for the same company since the day she arrived. I got to Canada under the study permit and has been studying Civil Engineering the last 2 years and fall in love with the program and i want to advance further for my education, however the university tuition fees is around 40-60k a year. So she wants to sponsor me so that i’d pay less for the tuition (domestic student pays 5x times less than international)
Can my aunt sponsor me?

Does she have a spouse or common law partner?
Are either of her parents still alive?
Does she have any other family in Canada (e.g. aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews)?
Is she still working?
She’s single and has never been married
My grandparents are long gone!
She doesn’t have family here in Canada
And yes she is still working.
Then you are good to go. Suggest she submit the application as soon as she can since it will take a couple of years to process.
One thing i forgot to mention is im 22 as of right now. I was 18 4 years ago when i first landed in Canada. Is 22 over the age limit? Also do i need like an immigration lawyer for this matter? Thanks for taking the time to answer my question!
Your age is not an issue here.
Suggest you start by reading the program documentation carefully and go through the forms and docs you will need to provide. If you think you can handle that, you can likely do without a lawyer.
