I am so grateful to have found this forum, but I still need specific answers. I am an American transfer student who will (hopefully) be studying at a Canadian university in January. However, two things frighten/worry me.
1) I've read multiple times that I can present myself and all appropriate documents at the border, and obtain my study permit there. Please tell me this is correct!
2) I know I need $10,000 + tuition minimum, to prove that I have the expenses necessary to cover my stay. If I show that I have a monthly income of at least $833 a month (833*12 = about 10 thousand), would that suffice?
I hope the answer to both of these questions is yes, but I do need answers.
I'm so worried. Thank you for your time.
