Hi,

If the main applicant of the Express Entry profile is my wife, do I get the same permanent resident rights - I mean, will I be able to work when we arrive at Canada?

Also, does she need to find a job right away, or could she stay at home while I work? Is the main applicant required to work?

Yes - main applicant can be your wife. Yes - you will get the same PR rights. No - she doesn't have to work.
