Can Immigration officer reject an application, if documents are not notarized

Hi,

I have recently sent my application to canada immigration. I have most of my document notarized except few course certificates that i couldn't get notarized because of unavailability of notary in UAE.

Can an immigration officer reject my application, if documents are not notarized?

Would appreciate if anyone can share his experience
