Can I work part-time during a paid COOP work term?

Hi, I am having a paid CO-OP work term this Fall where I will be working full-time with compensation. Am I allowed to also do twenty hours on the side at another company? Or would it be illegal?

Consider coop as part of your study; you should be able to work 20hrs per week like when you go to school

Yes. You can work 20 hours per week as part of the conditions of your study permit.
