Can I work in Canada with an old citizenship card?

I was born to a Canadian immigrant and thus have citizenship. I have a citizenship card but I am a baby in the picture.

I would like to work in Canada but am trying to figure out if I need to get a new citizenship certificate or if I can just got for a passport.

Any help is appreciated!
