What is the nationality of your passport?

Well, I am from a non visa exempt country. and previously did travel to Canada using Canada visitor visa(which are of course expired). This time I am wondering can I visit using the work permit on my passport or do I have to get a visitor visa ?

If the work permit has a "this does not authorize re entry" written at the bottom, then you need a TRV.

It doesn't say. Infact are there work permit which are single entry ? It says multiple.

But does it means I can enter canada on visit purpose using my stamped work permit ?

Unless the permit specifically states you are allowed in Canada you will need a TRV.
