If I couldn't receive Option-C by mail in time, Can I use the Assessment printed on CRA website as substitute ?

There's some debate on this, some have got through OK with just that printout, but they do ask specifically for the ORIGINAL option c. A printout isn't technically "original". But, they do also allow you to provide evidence if you can't obtain the option C.

I would play it safe and send the original they ask for. Mine came in about 8 days.

You can include a letter explaining that you are waiting for it and will forward it on. The Option C shows more information, specifically info regarding whether a person has been on welfare.

Are you referring to the detailed assessment? Thats what we sent in, received sponsorship approval without issue.

I'm not sure I'd recommend doing it though, saving the few days wasn't worth the stress that I went through at the possibility the application would be returned haha
