Hello,

I recently graduated from a DLI university with a bachelor's and I am planning to apply for a PGWP. I saw that the IRCC website says "You should take the IELTS General Training option." and I was wondering if that was a requirement or a suggestion to make the process easier. I have results from an IELTS Academic test I took recently and the band scores are as follows:
Listening - 8.5
  • Reading - 9.0
  • Writing - 7.0
  • Speaking - 8.5
  • Overall - 8.5
Can I use these results since my band scores are quite high? I don't want to pay for another test if I am not required to.

Thanks for any help.

You need to do General. Academic is not accepted.
