Hello,
I have an question about my temporary resident visa (TRV). Currently, I have one closed work permit and work visa (multiple entries) which will expire on Apr. 10, 2014.
My company don't need me to work here now and will "cancel" the work permit in January, 2014.
However, I just got my Open Work Permit which will exire at end of 2014.
My question is can I use my current TRV and new work permit to come back to Canada before Apr. 10, 2014?
Or I have to apply new visa with new work permit? Because I don't have enough time to extend TRV in Canada before go back to my country.

I appreciate all the help from you guys :)

AFAIK, YES, you could use the TRV to come back to Canada and dont need to get another one. But, based on my practical experience, please avoid traveling at the last minute of your TRV expiry (say, around April 5th) as that will create unnecessary troubles to you.

Try to come back to Canada atleast 1 month before your TRV expiry.

Good luck....
